Jim Mottern

Jim Mottern (March 25, 1938 - November 21, 2024, 86yrs)

National Ski Patrol Senior Alpine Patroller retired in 2016 after 37 years. Jim started his patrolling carrier at Mt Holly in 1980 and later transferred to Schuss Mountain. He was awarded a National Appointment Number 10544. Jim was very active in training new patrollers. He spent 22 years as an OEC instructor and 19 years as an OET instructor for the NSP helping many candidates through the years. Jim was awarded the Outstanding Schuss Mountain Ski Patroller of the year in 2007 for all his service to this patrol. Last Run obituary in process.
